On the occasion of Kathina, the largest annual gathering at Abhayagiri, Ajahn Amaro reflects on the spirit of generosity and the brightness of the heart that accompanies the various types of selfless action. Kathina is the annual festival day and ceremony which takes place during the month after the three-month rains retreat season (the monsoon season in Southeast Asia) for the monastic order.
