Abhayagiri Monastery resident, Sāmanera Thitapañño, will be requesting the Upasampada, or higher ordination, taking on the training as a bhikkhu. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on the forest ordination platform at Abhayagiri Monastery on Saturday, June 13th at 4 pm. Please arrive before 3:30 pm to catch a ride up to the ordination platform. Ajahn Jayasaro will speak at the ordination. There will be no 7:30 pm puja or evening Dhamma talk. Everyone is welcome to participate in the meal offering, which takes place at 11.00 am.
