Daylong Retreat at Spirit Rock with Ajahn Anandabodhi

"In the Deep Midwinter" - resonating the natural silence and stillness of the time of the year, this will be a day of reflection on inner listening and the practice of "nada yoga" - attending to the mysterious 'sound of silence' and the development of it as a support for both concentration and insight.

Such inner listening, and the discovery of a primordial silence, is an important counterbalance to the world of noise and the babble of activity that is so burdensome in this overstimulated and media-deluged world.

Ajahn Amaro chose the theme for this event and was originally scheduled to lead it. However, a rare opportunity arose for Ajahn Pasanno and Ajahn Amaro to travel in Thailand together, and Ajahn Anandabodhi kindly agreed to lead this daylong in Ajahn Amaro's place.
