Update:

It was almost exactly a year ago that I was leaving Thunder Bay, Ontario for New Orleans, Louisiana!

After spending the summer and fall at the Arrow River Forest Hermitage I returned to Abhayagiri in early December, as the Mononucleosis was still present. On my travels to California a friend took me to see a Chinese herbalist and I’ve been taking various formulas for the past ten weeks. The herbs provided a great boost for my energy and now for the first time in ten months I fell like I may be getting over the Mono.

In early January Austin came to visit. Surprisingly he said his health had not returned to “normal” either. He is healthy enough to work a 40 hour week, but mentioned that there is a difference in how he feels after the walk, as compared to before the walk. Austin is now living and working in San Francisco. Our conversation was short, but Austin seems to be doing well.

No plans are being made to do any walking this year.
