Directions to Abhayagiri
1. Take the WEST ROAD exit* from HWY 101 north of Ukiah (about halfway between Ukiah and Willits).
2. Go straight over NORTH STATE STEET and then SCHOOL WAY.
3. Follow WEST ROAD until it reaches a T-junction (three miles from the exit).
4. Turn left at the "T" onto TOMKI ROAD. Continue for four miles.
5. There will be a big turnout with twenty mailboxes on your right. The entrance to the monastery is right there.
*PLEASE NOTE: These directions must be followed regardless of which direction you are coming from. Some Internet websites that offer maps and directions incorrectly misdirect people coming from the west and north, indicating that Tomki Road can be accessed from the north. In reality, the northern stretch of Tomki Road is impassable.
