site we are in the presence of the Fourfold-Community (Ordained and
lay men and women alike) of the Abhayagiri Monastery. Just as one
would follow certain modes of behavior when on the monastery land,
so too is it appropriate to conduct oneself here, in the
monastery cyber space, as follows:
Most important is a well-intentioned attitude. Courtesy and respect go
a long way and are the foundation of the etiquette used in both the physical
and cyber worlds of the monastery. Etiquette offers a structure of respect
and friendly support while promoting an atmosphere of harmony and grace.
